Currently Cocoveting

Lately I have been very intrigued by natural, organic beauty products. I am always hearing the multiple uses and benefits of coconut oil. Gentle, nourishing, and hydrating, coconut oil is great for sensitive skin. It can be used as a moisturizer, makeup remover, hair conditioning mask, lip balm, and more! Here are some coconut based beauty products I’m currently cocoveting.

RMS Beauty

RMS Beauty products are formulated with natural, lightweight, and hydrating ingredients with healing attributes to penetrate and rejuvenate the skin. Centered around showcasing your skin’s youthful glow, the entire line is made with raw, food-grade, and organic anti-aging ingredients.

After visiting both Violet Grey and The Detox Market, I have heard nothing but good things about RMS Beauty products. Coming from someone who likes the idea of being able to conceal blemishes, the idea of having something caked on my face is unappealing to say the least. I tested out RMS Beauty’s “un” cover-up and loved it! It is light, hydrating, and is not in any way harmful to the skin. Here are some RMS Beauty products I’m currently coveting…

Cocovit Coconut Oil is harvested from fresh, organic coconuts in South India. This 100% raw, versatile oil is suitable for all ages, skin & hair types. In addition to Cocovit Coconut Oil deeply nourishing, repairing and strengthening your skin and hair, the oil also has countless other long-term uses and benefits.

On a recent visit to Anthropologie, purchased Cocovit’s coconut oil. I have been using as a lip balm, under eye moisturizer to help reduce wrinkles, and as a conditioning mask on the ends of my hair. It is a very versatile product that I highly recommend.

Cocovit also makes a lovely coconut based mint lip scrub made entirely of organic ingredients. Mint-infused cane sugar exfoliates while cold-pressed coconut oil hydrates and moisturizes the lips. In addition to this, be sure to check out the Cocovit facial mist. Organic ingredients such as aloe vera water, honeysuckle, and coconut oil provide antioxidants and antibacterial hydration for all skin types. While I have yet to try it myself, it very well may be my next Cocovit purchase.

I am very impressed! I could use some that that Coco vit lip scrub and oil! Between your yummy gluten-free rugelach and your paleo menu and natural beauty products, I am certain you were switched at birth Missy Lou Lou.
