I’ll stop wearing black when they invent a darker color

As far as I’m concerned, you can never go wrong with black.

I’ve been feeling bodysuits recently. I’ve been eyeing this triangle bodysuit from Urban Outfitters – it’s simple, sexy, and can be dressed up or down. Definitely an item on my wishlist.

Dark charcoal/black jeans are essential. My personal favorites in my closet are from Rag & Bone and Topshop and as much as I dread jean shopping, finding the right pair is quite a rewarding accomplishment.

I have been finding myself wearing more fitted clothing. I used to be very into long and flowy tops, big cozy sweaters, which I still am, but I have been wearing more form fitting tops and sweaters. A simple black cropped top or sweater is perfect with a pair or mid or high-rise jeans. Brandy Melville has some great options!

The other weekend I stopped by Stacey Todd Boutique in Studio City after a manicure at Bellacures and spotted this great top. Considering I’m not very tall, I thought it was a dress and must say, for me, this crocheted top by Isabel Marant was long enough to fit me as a dress. Worn with a slip underneath, this piece is form fitting and very chic.

I have my collection of black bags. I am on the lookout for a bag that is a different color but then again, can you really have enough black bags? Balenciaga’s mini city bags are so cute. This suede black one is perfect for the season!
